Unlocking the Uniden UH078SX-NB UHF CB radio
- Turn on the power by turning the power knob clockwise
- Press the channel up button until it reads channel 39 and wait 3 seconds
- Turn the power off by turning the power knob anti-clockwise and wait 4 seconds
- While holding down the (TXP) & (CALL) buttons, Turn the power knob clockwise to turn the power on
- Check the channel range to see if channels 41 to 80 appear
- If channels 41 to 80 fail to appear repeat steps 1-5

GME UHF CB user upgrade instructions
- Select Channel 7
- Switch the radio ‘Off’ then ‘ON’ again
- Select Channel 23
- Switch the radio ‘Off’ then ‘ON’ again
- Select Channel 39
- Switch the radio ‘Off’ then ‘ON’ again
- Select Channel 15
- Switch the radio ‘Off’ then ‘ON’ again
- Select Channel 31
- Switch the radio ‘Off’ then ‘ON’ again
Unit should display channel 80 if successful, if unsuccessful try again from step one
